This arctic wild Crowberry Syrup represents the true north.
Though we do not have crows in Iceland we have ravens who love to eat this berry and distribute their seed everywhere around.
The syrup is very good to blend in drinks, with lemon in sparkling water, in all kinds of berry tea and it is delicious in ice cold milk, adding a nice blue color.
It goes very well with yogurt, Icelandic skyr, curd, whipped cream and cream cheese. To top ice cream, puddings, pancakes and waffles and use on cheese like Brie and Camembert, as well as on reindeer, grouse and other dishes of game.
